Welcome to the official website of the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation – The Netherlands. The WNBF promotes healthy, drug free bodybuilding. In order to keep our competitions fair, athletes will be tested for drug usage now and in the past in various ways.
WNBF Netherlands is organizing the fifth open Dutch Championship on October 10th and 11th, 2026: The Grand Dutch Naturals Cup. This is an international open championship for WNBF Netherlands members and members of other WNBF affiliates. The WNBF Netherlands is looking forward to crowning new Dutch champions.

REGISTER
Register as an athlete for the Grand Dutch Naturals 2026. Each athlete needs at least an “Athlete registration”. If you want to do more than 1 category, you can add the “Athlete Extra Category”. Please note that this is a two day event, so keep this in mind when you register for different categories.

Register as an athlete for the WNBF Dutch Natural International Open Bodybuilding Championship 2026. This includes:
- First category
- Optional urine test at the discretion of the judges
Please note that the registration does not yet include the obligatory polygraph testing. This will be planned and billed separately.

Coach ticket – day 1
Ticket for coaches. Coaches have access to all regular area’s and to the backstage area for the athletes. We allow 1 coach per athlete.

MEMBERSHIP
A valid membership is obligatory to compete. Become a member by filling out the form here. A membership of WNBF Netherlands also allows you free entrance to the workshops which we organize regularly.

Height and weight
Bikini, Men’s Physique and Classic Physique will have height splits. Bodybuilding will have weight splits. You will be measured at the registration and division cut offs are made after everybody is registered. There are no fixed cut off values. We will divide the categories in equally sized groups.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
In order to compete in the Grand Dutch Naturals Cup, you will need an active membership with WNBF in your country of residence, or with WNBF Netherlands if there is no WNBF affiliate in your country. Furthermore, you will need approval to compete internationally from the WNBF affiliate you are a member of.
If you want to compete in 1 category, you will need to buy the Athlete ticket 2026. If you want to compete in multiple categories, you will need to buy the Athlete ticket 2026 and one ‘Athlete extra category’ for each additional category. Extra categories can be purchased later, after buying the athlete ticket.
After getting your athlete ticket, we will send you an email with detailed information regarding the competition and drug testing.

CATEGORIES
Please check the WNBF website to see the judging criteria for each category. We do allow crossovers between categories, as per WNBF rules.
Next to the divisions listed, every winning athlete of each category will automatically participate in the overall categories for men and women. You do not have to register separately for this. The overall winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Teen categories are for athletes aged 14 untill 18 at the day of the competition. All under aged athletes need to be accompanied by an adult during the polygraph and during the competition. This can be your coach. All teen registrations are obliged to fill out the details of the adult while registering for the competition.
Junior categories are up to 24 years of age and over 18 years old. On the day of the competition, you have to be older than 18 and younger than 24. This is in accordance with the categories at the Worlds.
Athletes over the age of 40 at the day of the competition are eligible for the Masters categories.
Athletes over the age of 50 at the day of the competition are eligible for the Grandmasters categories. We will offer this category if there is enough interest.
A Novice is someone who has never competed before, or never placed in the top 5 of their category within WNBF. First timers or athletes who did not place in the top 5, can choose to compete in the Open category, but can not compete in both: Open and Novice category.
eligibility – rules for competing nationally, internationally and at the Worlds
To participate in the Grand Dutch Naturals Cup, you have to be a member of WNBF Netherlands or of the affiliate in your country – if your country has an WNBF affiliate – and have permission to compete from your affiliate. If you are not a member yet, you can sign up here. If your country does not have an WNBF affiliate, you can join WNBF Netherlands as well. All athletes are required to be drug free according to the WADA list for at least 10 years prior to competing. Additionally, you have to comply with the WNBF anti-doping rules. In order to participate, a drug test is mandatory. Failing a drug test or refusing a drug test will lead to immediate disqualification and exclusion of WNBF.
After having a valid WNBF membership and being natural according to WNBF rules, athletes have to qualify first via de national championship in order to compete internationally.
First 5 placed athletes will be qualified for international competition.
First 3 placed athletes will be qualified for competing to the Worlds.
The qualification is valid for 12 months.
If an athlete wants to compete internationally prior to Dutch championship, he or she has to be already registered for the Grand Dutch Naturals of that year and have an online physique check with WNBF NL 4 weeks prior to the competition he or she wants to attend.
PRO CARDS
By participating in the competition it is possible to win a Pro Card if you are passing the urine and polygraph testing. Urine and polygraph tests are obligatory and at the expense of the athletes. Pro Cards are awarded at the discretion of the jury. Winning a category does not automatically grant a Pro Card. Teens, Juniors and Novices can not win Pro Cards. There are no Pro Cards in this category.
COACH
We allow one coach per athlete backstage. A coach ticket allows access to the theater and the backstage area.
POLYGRAPH TESTING (OBLIGATORY)
In order to compete, a polygraph test has to be successfully performed. WNBF Netherlands is organizing the tests in the days before the competition. The polygraph is combined with the on-site registration. Please keep this in mind planning your trip to the competition. In time, you will receive an exact time and location for the polygraph test.
The price of the polygraph is not yet known. This is not included in the registration. You will receive a seperate e-mail with payment information and further information about this separately after registering for the competition.
In case you did a WNBF competition prior to the Grand Dutch Naturals Cup, and you passed the polygraph exam there less than 6 weeks prior to the competition, you don’t need to take the polygraph again. If this is the case for you, please reach out to the organization where you took the polygraph and have them send the confirmation to us. Only with this confirmation, you will be exempt of retaking the polygraph test in The Netherlands.
Failing to take a polygraph test, or failing the test itself excludes you from competing in the Grand Dutch Naturals Cup and can lead to a global ban from competing in the WNBF. There will also be no refunds for registration.
Polygraph testing will take place in Zandvoort in the days prior to the competition. Polygraph tests are not available on the competition days. Please consider this while making travel arrangements.
ATHLETES CHECK-IN
Prior to the competition, athletes will take their polygraph. This is combined with their registration. There, we will also measure atheletes, in case a category split will be neccesary. In time, you will receive an e-mail to reserve a time slot for the polygraph testing and athlete registration. Please keep this in mind when making reservations for flights and accomodations.
MUSIC
Athletes in categories Bodybuilding and Classic Physique have a mandatory routine of one minute on their own music. Only the top 5 of each category will perform their routine. Please use the form below to upload your music. Do this well on time. If we don’t have your music, you will have to perform your routine without music.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Only the official photography is allowed in the theater.
When taking snapshots with your phone, please be mindful of other athletes and visitors, who are focussing on their own performances.

Theater rules
- Access only from ages 14 and up. Younger visitors can be refused entrance.
- Kids only have access when attended by an adult.
- When causing nuisance, visitors and athletes can be removed from the venue, including any supervisors.
- In the theater room, no food nor drinks are allowed. You can eat and drink in the restaurant and outside. Please clean up after yourself.
- Athletes with tanning are only allowed in the theater room when completely covered, to prevent staining.
